The ‘Doodle Piece’ is a black and white artwork originally made across 9 months using ink pens on an A3 sheet of paper. Upon completion of the black and white piece, I wanted to explore further depths in their works by utilising colour as another dimension to build off of and fill the spaces left in the black and white piece, hence creating the ‘Colour Bomb’. I encourage you to really get close and look around the paper, there are small details and meanings across the entire piece that I have placed. Sections vary in their depth, with some parts that have doodles and creations from the my childhood, to political statements, all the way through to smiles and raw emotions added whilst drawing.
